Born in Madrid (1977), he began his first professional steps on stage at the age of 17. After several years forging his career on stages all over Spain, at the age of 22 he released his first album “Del Manzanares al Guadalquivir”. He was selected two consecutive years 2000 and 2001 by INJUVE among a thousand musicians of: Jazz, flok, singer-songwriter, classical and other music, which allowed him to tour throughout Spain. Finalist in the National Contest of flamenco art of Cordoba (2001), throughout his career he has shared the stage with: Diego el Cigala, Miguel Poveda, Marina Heredia, Capullo de Jerez, Curro Malena, Chaquetón, Montse Cortes, Diego Clavel, Potito, etc.
He has performed in the best theaters, festivals, Flamenco Peñas Flamencas and Flamenco Television Programs, such as: Festival Suma Flamenca, Veranos de la Villa, in Conde duque, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Palacio de Congresos, Jueves Flamencos in Cádiz, at the Expo in Lisbon, at the Miami Flamenco Festival, etc..
In addition to his own recordings, Israel Paz’s songs are included in several albums: Carácter Flamenco or Pasión Gitana, where besides the singer himself there are artists such as Arcángel, Estrella Morente, Miguel Poveda, Duquende, Elena Andújar, Mayte Martín, Mártires del Compás…
His latest work; “Corazón Flamenco” has been selected for “best album of the year”.
Since 2021 she has been collaborating in the works of the Antonio Gades Company, Suite Gades and Fuego.
