Alfredo Tejada

Singer

Born in Malaga, adopted in Granada. In 2007, the Antonio Gades Foundation, under the artistic direction of Stella Arauzo, counts on him for its cast of artists and joins the company, with the ballets of Carmen, Fuenteovejuna, Suite Flamenca and Bodas de Sangre, with which he has travelled through many countries such as France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Romania, Russia, Holland, Egypt, China, United States and Brazil, amongst others.

He has participated in several flamenco singing competitions, obtaining the first prize of the Competition of Young Flamencos (2002), the prize for best farruca (2004) in Ubrique, Spain, the second Prize in the National Competition of Jumilla, first National Prize for Young Values in the Rincón de la Victoria (2009) and the prestigious Lámpara Minera, an award by the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas (2017).
