Silvia Vidal
She began studying Spanish dance at the Marienma Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance in Madrid, training in different disciplines that included classical dance, bowling school, folklore, stylized dance and flamenco. She complemented her training at the Royal Professional Conservatory of Dance workshops, where she performs choreographies by the following: Jose Antonio (Sombrero de tres Picos, Aires de Villa and Corte), Elvira Andrés (A la luz), Antonio Najarro (Movimientos reversos), and Marienma (Ibérica; España). She also expands his knowledge by taking master classes from renowned teachers including Aída Gómez, Lola Greco, María Magdalena, Paco Pozo, Miguel Ángel Rojas and Carlos Rodríguez.
She started her career in the Antonio Márquez Company, where she participated in performances like Sombrero de tres picos, Boda Flamenca and Reencuentros. She later worked with the companies of Paloma Gómez, Miguel Fuentes and Danzatdanza, among others, and participates in various operas at the Teatro Real and zarzuelas at the Teatro La Latina, and going on perform as a soloist for the Rafael Aguilar Company, and as principal dancer for the José Greco Company and Carmen Cantero Ballet Company. She currently teaches at the S.C.A.E.N. conservatory in Madrid while remaining a member of the Antonio Gades Company, playing the role of the Bride in Bodas de Sangre and Laurencia in Fuenteovejuna.
