Antonio Gades

Antonio Gades made the Spanish Dance a universal language with a very wide capacity for expression. This allowed him to reach a wider audience, and present classics of literature such as Bodas de Sangre (Blood Wedding) by Federico García Lorca or Fuenteovejuna by Lope de Vega, and Carmen which he collaborated with Carlos Saura, the Spanish film director, one of the most recognized Spanish works and universal myth.
